Yesterday (July 21, 2015) I had the pleasure of co-hosting a free presentation on Social Media Marketing and Sales 101. My cohort in this presentation was John Jurkiewicz, sales coach and business consultant extraordinaire.
John and I met on Google+, and while I shared with him tips on social marketing and creating a strong brand identity, he shared with me some simple secrets to sales scripting that were very effective and which helped me remove my own inner blocks to selling.
We got together and chatted about how marketing and sales go hand-in-hand, but rarely do we see any presentations and workshops that include both marketing and sales – it’s usually one or the other. But really, what good is all that marketing savvy if you don’t know how to close the sale to the audience you’re building up? And what good is knowing how to close the sale every time if you have no audience to sell to?
This was when we realized we had a great opportunity to team up and bring a useful and helpful marketing and sales presentation to you 🙂 So we created a great slideshow presentation held a live Hangout on Air yesterday which was recorded, and which you can watch below, woot!
